Description
Standard operating procedure for the micro-method for the determination of hydroxyproline in gelatine extracts
Scope
The method described covers the determination of hydroxyproline content in extracts from chicken drip liquor which may have been enriched for gelatine content. The method has been exploited in an inter-laboratory trial. The scope of the method is limited to the reagents as detailed within the SOP and to samples prepared as reported in project report FSA Q01132. The limit of detection is 0.6µg/mL hydroxyproline.
