Two-Step Methodology To Determine Vegetable Oil Species In Vegetable Oil Mixtures
Description
Standard operating procedure for development of a two-step methodology to determine vegetable oil species in vegetable oil mixtures using FT-IR and Raman spectroscopy with chemometric analysis.
Scope
This method is suitable for the qualitative identification of specific oil species (palm species consisting of palm oil, palm kernel oil, palm stearin, palm olein and seed oils: rapeseed oil and sunflower oil) in an oil blend consisting of a maximum of three different oil species. It is not suitable for the identification of oil species in oil blends containing four or more different oils.
